I am a PhD student in Computational Intelligence, Vision, and Robotics Lab (CILVR) at NYU and am lucky to be advised by Lerrel Pinto. My research focuses on data-driven dexterous manipulation for multi-fingered robot hands. Due to difficulties in collecting task-specific robot data with multi-fingered hands, my research focuses on three high-level topics:

  1. Learning by watching humans: AINA, HuDOR
  2. Design of humanoid hardware and alternative control mechanisms to best mimic human hands: RUKA, RUKA-v2
  3. Data-efficient multi-fingered policy learning: T-Dex, TAVI

I have a master’s degree from New York University, Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship in 2020. On top of my research, with my interest in robotics and machine learning, I worked as a full-time robotics engineer at DOF Robotics for a year, had an internship at X - the Moonshot Factory, and 2 different internships at Google, one of them being purely on machine learning. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 2 amazing dogs, crafting, and playing muggle Quidditch! :)
